| Lominger International Associate John Fulkerson is the CEO of Fulkerson & Associates, headquartered in New York City. The firm focuses on building competency models, leadership development, building high performance cultures and teams, change and performance management, succession planning, 360 feedback, executive coaching, talent management, and cross cultural effectiveness.
John has 30 years of business experience with both international and U.S. organizations. He has served as a vice president for organization and leadership development with PepsiCo, with Cisco Systems, and at Young & Rubicam Advertising. He also served with the U.S. Government as an assessment psychologist for the identification and development of high ability, international staff officers.
John has extensive international experience and had traveled to more than 60+ countries working on leadership and workforce issues. He has experience in consumer products, high tech, retail, manufacturing, executive search, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and banking and finance.
John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Baylor University and also holds a license in Psychology from the State of Texas. |
John describes his work as focused on “improving the performance of individual leaders, teams, and organizations.” John works at all organization levels and with the experience of having served as a Chief Personnel Officer and Director of member bank boards for a multi-bank holding company, has a practical approach to driving business results and organization or executive interventions.
John has experience with a wide range of organization development initiatives and tools in a wide range of industry sectors. He has developed and implemented interventions that range from large-scale organization and cultural change to intensive team building to individualized executive coaching and assessment.
John has also taught at the University level and is a frequent presenter at conferences, speaking on topics related to leadership development and organization effectiveness. He has also authored numerous articles and book chapters on leadership and organization development, global organization issues, and performance management.
