I just received my order but my invoice wasn’t in the box. Is this a mistake?
While a packing list is included in the box with your order, the invoice will be sent to the billing address by mail with complete information, including shipping and handling costs and sales tax if applicable.
How soon can I receive my international order?
Most international orders are shipped via FedEx International Priority. With this service, your order should arrive in country within 2–3 days from processing. HOWEVER, WE ARE UNABLE TO PREDICT THE AMOUNT OF TIME NECESSARY FOR YOUR MATERIALS TO CLEAR CUSTOMS. This period can be a matter of hours or a matter of days depending on the location, the size of the order, and the timeliness of customs and duties payments. We recommend placing international orders at least three weeks before the materials are required. All international orders are accompanied by a commercial invoice which states the full retail value of goods being shipped. Please note that the customer is responsible for all customs duties and taxes.
Can I ship via the postal service?
Lominger’s international shipments are handled by FedEx, but we are able to accommodate UPS and DHL shipments at the customer’s request. However, we are unable to ship via the postal service.
How much are shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated according to weight of the package, selected delivery options (standard, overnight, international delivery), and delivery location. For a shipping quote, please contact Customer Service by phone at 952-345-3610 or email business_office@lominger.com.
What is Lominger’s return policy for materials?
Lominger is able to accept returns that are authorized by the Customer Service department within 30 days of original purchase. All materials must be received by Lominger in the original shrink-wrap and in salable condition. We do not accept a return of material that is not a current version or that has been removed from shrink-wrap.
To return materials, you must contact Customer Service at 952-345-3610 to receive a return authorization number. The authorization number must be written on the outside of the return box or it will be refused. Credit will not be given for opened or used products, products with version numbers different than the current shipping version or for products returned after 30 days of purchase. A restocking fee of 20% applies to all returned materials.
What does it mean when a product is restricted?
Because Lominger believes in best practice applications, some tools require certification to purchase. These tools are “restricted.” Certification ensures a research foundation, applied practice, and knowledge transfer so you may effectively implement best practices in your organization. What is certification and when would I need it?
Certification in a Lominger tool suite is the result of endorsement by a Lominger facilitator for demonstrated comprehension of content and commitment to best practice application of the tool. Some Lominger tool suites require certification to assure applied practice and knowledge transfer for advanced tools.
To receive certification, you may attend a Lominger public certification course or become certified by Lominger Consulting or a member of Lominger’s Global Associate Network. Certification is provided to individuals rather than organizations. Should you become certified in a Lominger tool suite, you are able to take the certification with you to future roles at other companies. The LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® 101: Understanding Competencies Workshop is a prerequisite for advanced certification to provide a solid foundation in the core of Lominger content and research. Certification opportunities are slightly different for independent consultants or consulting organizations. I have a sort card deck that is a few years old. Do I need an updated deck?
Lominger’s LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® Library of 67 Competencies and 19 Career Stallers and Stoppers is unchanged for the most part across versions. Updated versions include some edits to language to reflect changes in common business terms and added features to enhance the sorting process. We have also included the 7 International Focus Areas in our current version, 4.1b International. You can purchase a LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® Sort Card Upgrade Kit which includes only these 7 cards to update card decks you may already have.
Previous versions of the deck are useable and correct, but you may find it helpful in a group sort to have everyone using the same version.
I have a previous edition of the FYI book. What is different about the current edition?
The 4th Edition of FYI For Your Improvement™ book includes additional development suggestions, relevant quotations for each chapter, and updated book and audiotape suggestions. The 4th Edition also includes development chapters for each of Lominger’s 7 International Focus Areas.
