Getting Started
Once you have determined to administer the VOICES® Multi-rater 360° Feedback System with Global Survey Center support, here are important bases to cover before launch:
- Establish and clarify the purpose of VOICES® in your organization and determine what business objectives it will meet.
- Create a program for implementing the VOICES® s urvey process and define how you will communicate the objectives, implement the process, provide feedback, and create accountability for results.
- Become certified in VOICES® so you may deliver feedback to learners, or engage a VOICES®-certified feedback facilitator to provide feedback.

Step-by-Step Plan
Well in advance of your first planned survey event, please follow our step-by-step plan for seamless project implementation with Lominger Global Survey Center support:
- Subscribe to the VOICES® 360° Full-Service Option by signing the VOICES® 360° Service Agreement (Subscription Activation and Maintenance Fees apply).
- Authorize the Volume Commitment at your estimated yearly volume to ensure the best price for your survey events (optional).
- Share the Technical Notes document with your IT department to coordinate any recommended action items.
- Identify an internal resource to be your main administrator/contact to manage survey events and communicate with your LGSC administrator.
- Implement your Introduction/Communication plan and rater training with your learners and raters.
- Complete the Survey Center Order Form with your desired event parameters (Competencies, key dates, billing and shipping information, etc.).
- Send your completed Survey Center Order form and Learner-Rater Spreadsheet to voices@lominger.com.

Technical Notes
When using an Internet-based survey system like Lominger’s VOICES® Multi-rater 360° Feedback System, there are important steps to take to ensure successful use of the system by administrators and raters. It is critical at the outset that you involve your organization’s IT department. Use the following checklist to ensure full compatibility with the system’s requirements.
Spam Filters
If you are using the Lominger Global Survey Center to administer your surveys, the surveys will come from voices@lominger.com. Your IT department must take steps to ensure that address will not be blocked.
Message Limits
Many organizations place internal limits on the number of emails that can come into their email system at a given time from a single source. A multi-rater survey system like VOICES® will typically launch a score of emails simultaneously. If your organization is conducting, for example, 30 multi-rater assessments with 10 raters assigned to each learner, then 300 emails would arrive at your server at once. This is technically referred to as a “blast.” It is critical that we coordinate with you to ensure your system is set to allow receipt of this volume.
Throughout the survey cycle, the system will send periodic reminders to participants as scheduled; it is therefore critical that any email volume restrictions be removed throughout the entire cycle.
Survey Access
Participants will access the surveys through a Web browser via https. IT must provide that the VOICES® survey site—VOICES.lominger.com—is an approved site.
Email Addresses
The greatest source of difficulty and delay in online surveying is inaccuracy in email addresses. It is critical that you check all email addresses for system users, since that is the way they get invited to access the system. If addresses are inaccurate, the system will bounce emails, returning them to the System Administrator for resolution. Some systems are set to assume that if too many invalid emails are coming from a single source, then that source is spam and will subsequently reject all mail from that source.
Bounce Back Emails
All bounce back emails will go to your Survey Center Administrator, who will follow up with you to resolve these issues. It is important that these be considered in a timely manner to allow for proper response time.
Report Delivery
The standard delivery for all final reports is a PDF file sent as an email attachment to the certified feedback giver. Please note: reports are only sent to those certified by Lominger to deliver feedback. The email containing the report will be sent directly to the certified feedback giver from your Survey Center Administrator. To receive a hard copy of a report, please specify on the order form, or contact your Survey Center Administrator.
Browser and Operation System—Minimum Requirements
To access the survey, each rater will require an Internet connection and a Web browser. At a minimum, the Microsoft 2000 or XP operating system for PC’s or MAC OS 9 for Macs is needed. The following browsers are compatible with the VOICES® Multi-rater Feedback System:

Information for Independent Consultants

The Lominger Global Survey Center’s VOICES® Full-Service Option subscriptions were intended for use within organizations for 360° feedback and development programs utilizing internal certified coaches and feedback providers. However, we know that some organizations:
- May not intend to create a full assessment and development program
- May be exploring the use of VOICES® within their organization and are not yet ready to subscribe on their own, or
- May have the need to request single low-volume learner events.
Therefore, Lominger’s Global Survey Center is pleased to support independent consultants who endeavor to provide VOICES® Multi-rater 360° Feedback as a service to their customers. Certified consultants may subscribe to the VOICES® Full-Service Option and host survey events for their customers with the following parameters in place:
- Survey events launched from the consultant’s database would be billed to the consultant.
- Volume from any one client may not exceed 15 learners in total. Upon reaching 15 learners, the consultant must direct the client to subscribe directly with Lominger for the creation of their own database, migration of previously collected data, and volume commitment pricing options, when applicable.
- Activation and Maintenance Fees are applicable for Consultant Subscriptions.
- Volume commitments are also available for Consultant Subscriptions.
